941 Days of Branding Sylndr

Back in late 2022, Sylndr — an automotive e-commerce marketplace — came to us with a strange request:
"We need a full art team. Outsourced. Responsible for every single visual detail. Could PurpStudio become our creative arm?"
We said yes. Here's what happened next.

The Starting Point
When we started working with Sylndr, the brand had only the basic visual identity: a logo and three colors, no more, no less.
We refined the logo proportions, balanced the color system, and that marked the beginning of a two-and a-half-year creative journey.
The Illustration Style
We created a complete illustration system for Sylndr:

1. Brand Character:
Designed to feel distinctly Egyptian, resonating with the target audience while carrying the same sharp, bold edges that define Sylndr’s identity.

2. USP Icons
A set of icons communicating Sylndr’s key promises, like guarantees and the 7-day return policy, crafted with a sense of speed, precision, and motion.

3. UI/UX Icons
A cohesive icon system for the product experience, ensuring every user touchpoint aligns seamlessly with Sylndr’s identity.

Environmental Designs
You can see our work on the streets!
We designed their trucks and inspection cars, giving them a bold, unmistakable presence.
But it wasn’t just about vehicles. it was about people too.
From the sales team to engineers, technicians, and delivery crews, we designed uniforms for every role. Each one carries its own distinct impression, while staying fully consistent with Sylndr’s identity.
941 Days of visualizing Sylndr
Imagine being responsible for every single social media design for two and a half years for a fast-growing startup like Sylndr?
That’s exactly what we did.
We continuously evolved the art direction. Every update was strategically driven by marketing and business shifts, ensuring the visuals kept pace with the brand’s growth.
We also crafted a distinct art direction for LinkedIn to match its more formal tone, while maintaining a more casual, engaging direction on Facebook and Instagram.
